Weekend CombosWe have lots of combinations for you to choose from. For those that like the active side of life and like the thought of a weekend of activity then combine surfing with something out of the following. Some of the activities need a minimum of 8 persons to book.
- Guided walks/hikes- enjoy an invigorating walk of Tramore Town or Beach to freshen mind and body.
- Boxercise fitness classes- for those that like to tone and sculpt. One hour of exercise. Encourages muscle strengthening & toning while improving Flexibility & balance. An excellent way to spend an evening or afternoon having already worked a lot of the same muscles earlier by surfing!
- Circuit Training - Aerobic & muscle endurance while keeping the pulse rate up
- Pilates- a mind and body workout, to relax and stretch. One hour of exercise. Encourages muscle strengthening & toning while improving Flexibility & balance. An excellent way to spend an evening or afternoon having already worked a lot of the same muscles earlier by surfing!
- Gym workout- local gym with sauna and steam room
- Dance classes - A basic dance steps foundation class. A one off dance class aimed at teaching basic step combinations and movements which can be adapted and applied to create the students own style of dance and choreography. 1hr in duration. Excellent as an evening entertainment class for groups staying overnight.
- Pool lane swimming or sea swimming - indoor or out, which ever appeals
- Cycling routes - take a leisurely guided bicycle ride of the area
- Horse riding - trek or ride, indoors or out
- Golf Club, pitch & putt or the driving range - choose one of the three
- Laser blast- for the young at heart!
Relaxation ActivitiesFor those that are tempted by the thoughts of relaxation then combine surfing with some learning workshops in:
- Acupressure massage and Qi energy workshop - Learn the ancient therapy of acupressure which uses finger pressure on specific acupressure points on the body. This pressure can release 'healing' energy throughout the body. Learn how to perceive your own Qi energy, your friend's energy and see what effect this energy can have on a person.
- Real relaxation and de-tox breathing workshop - Work and exam stress can affect all adults and teenagers. This workshop is designed to find different ways of tackling stress, tips on memory and concentration and how to use your breathing to energize and cleanse your body.
- Indian Head Massage Workshop - Learn the art of Indian Head Massage - a massage performed on the back, shoulders, neck, head, face and scalp while fully dressed and while sitting on a chair. This makes this massage very portable as all you need is your hands. A very enjoyable and fun way to learn massage.
